Biography

Stephen Croft is a Distinguished Non-Destructive Assay (NDA) Scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His research interests focus on radiation measurement science and uncertainty quantification for a broad range of basic and applied questions. He has worked extensively in nuclear data, neutron diagnostics, nuclear waste assay, international safeguards and security. He began his career at the UKAEA, Harwell Laboratory in England, lead the Canberra/AREVA Fundamental & Applied Research Group in CT, USA, before moving to Los Alamos National Laboratory and afterwards, now nearly 4 years ago, to ORNL.
