Abstract

Some of the most recent advances in radiation oncology includes machines dedicated to adaptive radiotherapy (ART) as well as the integration of MR imaging directly onto linear accelerators. The combination of these two has brought us the emergence of MR guided radiotherapy (MRgRT). This talk will give an overview of the advantages of MRgRT as well as explain some of the considerations and challenges of MR Linacs.
