MRDC Building, Room 2404
The talk will include a look at small field dosimeters and dose measurement acquisition techniques from a historical context of broad beam radiation therapy dosimetry. In addition to common dose qa devices, other novel approaches are discussed.
Mr. George Andl has been an applications medical physicist for Elekta since 1996. He received MS degree in Medical Physics from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado in 1996. He characterizes a wide range of linear accelerators and cobalt units for various Elekta treatment planning systems. He is responsible for physics instruction and DICOM connectivity to CT scanners, Image Fusion Systems, Contouring Systems, Virtual Simulation Systems, Record and Verify Systems, EPID Systems, x-ray cone-beam Systems and Dose Comparison Systems.
Refreshments will be served.
