SUMMARY

Gradient patterned coatings can be useful in various fields such as chemical, electrical and mechanical fields and they have been proved to be promising as past works have highlighted the novelty and usefulness its mechanical and chemical properties. Slot die coating the gradient patterns is more scalable compare to previous methods. Slot die coating of gradient structures will further improve the scalability of the films and add immediate applicability of coating on numerous flexible devices in medical, soft robotics and flexible devices.
