SUMMARY

Multiple mapping conditioning is a fairly new development in large eddy simulation, which borrows ideas from the techniques of conditional moment closure and filtered density functions. Here, this MMC-LES approach is extended to two-phase flows, with the specific case being a double shear layer with fuel droplets. The overall accuracy of this simulation is discussed, as well as potential causes of error and suggestions for improvement for future testing.
