SUMMARY

The objective of this thesis is to design and test a new electrochemical cell for the mass production of graphene using electrochemical exfoliation of graphite. Although several techniques have been developed by different research groups, most of them are based on the exfoliation of a solid body of graphite, which usually increases the cost of the process or lowers the quality of the final product. In this case, the research is oriented towards a cost-effective set up which uses graphite powder instead of a rigid graphite body.
